My variation of Pepper is inspired by my fascination with the Suicide Girls. I wanted to achieve a sort of unconventional look, but still inject my personal style.

This is one of my very few landscape matte paintings (because I suck, hehe). But I really loved how this piece turned out, and the colors of the sky against the Burtonesque trees just made the whole piece seem surreal; and when I added the cornfields (which you can't really see) and the scarecrow, I was reminded of the Oz movies I enjoyed as a kid and still enjoy to this day.
I doodled on a small piece of paper and scanned it in high res, and I'm happy with how it turned out. Colored in Photoshop. C & C appreciated.

The Pin Cushion Queen

"Life isn't easy,
For the Pin Cushion Queen,
When she sits on her throne,
Pins push through her spleen."
This is my 3D visualization of Tim Burton's Pin Cushion Queen, a character from his book The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy. This was a piece I did in XSI while taking a break from school work, fairly low res and nothing fancy. I hope you Tim Burton fans out there enjoy this piece.

Hello everyone,
I've just recently completed my 3D Animation program at Vancouver Film School (VFS). This piece is entitled "ENCORE". The area of focus for my demo reel is character animation and personification, the main concept being human emotion and a bit of ballet. It is not so much an animation reel as it is a short film which explores the universal human propensities for intimacy, passion, love, pain and sadness in even the most simplest of circumstances.
